Semi- antique Persian Tabriz hand-knotted wool rug, measuring approximately 7.75 ft x 11.58 ft. The rug features a finely articulated central medallion surrounded by an elegant allover floral and foliate design on a warm rust-red field. Muted blue corner spandrels and a richly patterned floral border provide striking contrast, with additional tones of navy, ivory, soft blue-gray, and beige. Characteristic of Tabriz weaving, the composition is formal and highly detailed, with graceful scrolling vines, palmettes, and floral motifs arranged in a balanced, symmetrical design. The softened colors and naturally aged surface give the rug a particularly attractive, collected appearance. Hand-knotted in wool with traditional construction.
