antique Persian Heriz rug, dating to the early 20th century, hand-knotted in wool and measuring approximately 7.5 ft x 9.25 ft. The rug features the bold geometric drawing characteristic of Heriz weaving, centered by a large angular medallion and surrounded by an intricate field of stylized floral and foliate motifs. The palette is especially appealing, with a warm brick and madder red ground accented by deep navy blue, ivory, soft blue, muted green, and touches of golden tan. Multiple patterned borders frame the central composition and give the rug a strong architectural presence. The close-up photographs show the hand-knotted construction and naturally aged wool pile

Unknown Age-related wear, areas of lower pile, edge/fringe wear, and color variation are present, contributing to the character expected of an antique textile
